Inlet Runner Walnut Blast Cleaning

Modern petrol engines in Crawley, East Grinstead and the surrounding areas suffer with carbon deposits building up in the intake tract and on the back of the valves. The build-up of carbon over time restricts airflow into the engine. This leads to reduction in power and eventually running issues with the engine. This is due to modern engines injecting the fuel directly into the cylinder instead of into the inlet manifold. When fuel is injected into the manifold it cleans the inlet tract and inlet valves as it passes into the engine.

We have invested in walnut shell blasting equipment to remove the carbon deposits to keep your vehicle running at its best. Walnut shell is an ideal blast media as it does not remove any metal during the blast process and if tiny particles enter the cylinder they simply burn off causing no damage to the engine. We recommend this is carried out as part of your maintenance plan.
