Here at SD Autotech, we like to be as clear as possible with what we charge. This way everybody knows where they stand and more importantly there are no surprises when it comes to the bill. We have listed a few of the common items of maintenance that we carry out so you can have a clear view of what they will cost.

Some of these prices will vary slightly between vehicles due to engine types and sizes.

Oil Change Service

The basic oil and filter change service includes a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle mechanically as well as a full diagnostic check and report on all of the vehicles electrical systems.

Prices start at £170 inc parts, labour and VAT.

Full service

The full service includes replacement of the engine oil & filter, fuel filter, air filter, pollen filter and spark plugs where fitted.

A comprehensive mechanical inspection of the vehicle is carried out as well as a full diagnostic check and report on all of the vehicles electrical systems.

Air Conditioning Service and Regas

Servicing of your air conditioning system is an important part of your vehicles maintenance and should be carried out every 2 years.

This ensures that the amount of gas and lubricating oil is present in the system to make sure it all operates at its best.

An air conditioning service and regas is £80 inc VAT.

Diagnostics

When carrying out diagnostics the cost can vary depending on the fault. For a diagnostic scan and basic check of any faults, we charge half an hour’s labour.

For any further fault-finding, extra time will be authorised with yourself to allow us time to go through the correct procedures and find the fault with your vehicle. This is usually 2 hours labour. In this timeframe we hope to get to the bottom of most issues.

Repairs and general work

All work carried out on your vehicle will be done so with your permission and agreement. Any work that requires carrying out will be fully explained so you have a full understanding of what is being done and the costs involved. That way there are no surprises when it comes to the bill.

We will not carry out any work unless you have agreed for us to do so.
